Born in Prezza in the province of L'Aquila in 1941, Massimina Pesce graduated
at the "Istituto Statale d'Arte" in Rome where famous artist Leoncillo taught her
how to use and explore the difficult but fascinating technique of ceramics.
She currently lives and works in L'Aquila.
Her first personal and collective exhibitions, characterized by openly informal
poeticism and abstract detail, date back to the early sixties.
Massimina Pesce has had exhibitions in various countries: France, Germany,
Austria, Spain, Tcheck Republic, Slovenia, Taiwan , U.S.A. and in many others.
